Oconto Falls - Each year Oconto Electric Cooperative (OEC) gives out five, $500 scholarships to high school seniors whose parents are members of OEC. Scholarship money comes from capital credits that have been unclaimed for at least three years. Applicants are judged on grade point average and SAT/ACT scores, activities, awards, accomplishments, a one-page essay on life and career goals, and a letter of recommendation from a third party.
Oconto Electric Cooperative extends congratulations to all 2008 graduates.

KATHY RIETH – - The daughter of Sandy and Jim Rieth, Kathy recently graduated from Oconto Falls High School. She plans to attend UW–Eau Claire to earn a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Music Education. A few of the activities Kathy has been involved in include FFA, band, sports, 4-H and she has been a class officer. |
ALISHA COOK – Alisha’s parents are Stanley and Janet Cook. She recently graduated from Oconto Falls High School and plans to attend UW-Oshkosh where she will major in nursing. Throughout her high school career some of the activities Alisha has been active in include sports, band, National Honor Society and FFA.
LINDSEY PRZYBYLSKI - The daughter of Gary and Diane Przybylski, she recently graduated from Pulaski High School. Lindsey plans to attend UW-Stevens Point to study Secondary Education with a focus on Social Studies and History. While in high school, a few of the activities Lindsey has been active in include sports, Spanish Club, 4-H and the Pulaski Youth Organization.

DANIELLE CLARK – Danielle’s parents are Timothy and Mary Clark and she recently graduated from Gillett High School. For her post-high school education she plans on attending Carroll College where she has been accepted into their entry-level clinical doctorate program for physical therapy. Some of the activities that Danielle has been involved in include 4-H, National Honor Society, band and she has been a class officer for four years.
AMANDA DRAHEIM – Amanda’s parents are Connie and Greg Draheim. She graduated from Oconto High School and plans to attend UW-Platteville this fall, majoring in Chemistry. A few of Amanda’s high school activities include band, forensics, sports, destination imagination, National Honor Society and drama club.
