OEC will manage your water heater load by shutting it off through the use of a radio-controlled switch. As the demand rises OEC will determine when system water heaters must be controlled. Once the water heater is shut off, you will have a full tank of hot water for your use until OEC's demand starts to go down and water heaters will be allowed to come back on. Control periods can last up to four hours at a time.
